We have listed below some of the frequently asked questions that we get asked:
How Many Appointments will I need?
Every person is unique, and every spine responds differently to chiropractic care. The number of appointments you will need will depend on your individual situation and what you are hoping achieve from your care. Chiropractic care has shown to be highly effective for the management of acute pain as well as the long term resolution of the underlying cause of many spine related issues. At Kiama Family Chiropractic we will design the best care plan for you to reach your desired outcomes and support you back to better spinal health.
What results can I expect?
Whilst receiving chiropractic care, the results that you see will very much depend on your individual situation. However, in most cases you will expect to experience some benefits soon after the commencement of your treatment, and those benefits will continue as your treatment continues. Some studies have shown that chiropractic care is more effective, economical and longer lasting than other forms of health care for disorders of the spine. For further information about chiropractic care please check out the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia website www.chiropractors.asn.au
How much will it cost?
Your Initial Appointment will cost $85.00 or $75.00 if you are a concession card holder or student/child. Subsequent appointments are $55.00 or $45.00 concession. We also have a special family rate available where three or more members of the immediate family are under care.

If your GP has given you a referral for Chiropractic care, then it might be possible for you to be covered by Medicare under an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan. You will need to organise this directly with your GP.
